Delgado dropped a non-conference doubleheader against Copiah-Lincoln Tuesday night in Wesson, Mississippi.
In the Ladies' game, Delgado trailed by seven at half and failed to rally in the 75-59 loss. Areion Banks scored 14 and Kayla Jackson scored 13 to lead the Dolphins.
The Delgado Men led 39-26 at halftime but could not overcome 37 Copiah-Lincoln free throws in the second half en route to their 81-76 loss. Melvin Davis scored 16 and Rashaun Claiborne scored 15 to lead Delgado, who falls to 11-3 on the season.
Delgado returns to the court on January 4 against Faulkner State following their holiday break.
